HEAD OF MARKETING COMMUNICATION FRANCHISES

Major franchise business within hospitality that is looking to grow its engagement with its franchisees. This is a delightful role for a HEAD OF (Marketing) COMMUNICATION: FRANCHISES in which you will oversee the refinement and improvement of current messaging to franchisees in order to increase engagement and generate excitement. You will be an established " storyteller" already and will support your team to generate excitement from franchisees. The role has a strong team management element and will only suit an experienced leader with an empathetic/kind coaching style to develop & retain the team. This role is regarded as a key senior level appointment and as such you will have plenty of autonomy .
TITLE : Head of Marketing Communications: Franchisees
Team : Marketing and PR/Comms team
Sector : Restaurants and hotels franchise environment
Location : High Wycombe
Work style: Hybrid ( 3 days in the office. 2 days wfh, Flexible hours)
Salary Total comp of circa £104,500 (comprised of base salary of £76k + 25% bonus from summer, and £9500 car allowance)

The role has a strong management element and will only suit an experienced leader with an empathetic coaching style to develop and retain the team. This role is regarded as a key senior level part of the Management Team and as such , you will have plenty of autonomy .
Duties
Supporting the Communications & Director of Culture the role has three key elements, and you will directly manage a team of 6 within marketing and comms:

  1. Team Management
  • Lead the department and develop /coach/mentor the team of 6
  • Help the team celebrate the company and generate excitement and engagement
  • Support the messaging to deliver a clear vision, mission and company objectives
  • Developing and executing the annual Franchisee communications calendar
  • Ensure alignment and consistency across all markets and a compelling flow of stories throughout the year.
  • Driving excellence in storytelling across the team ( including presentation Decks)
  • Liaising with suppliers including digital and design agencies
  1. Reporting
  • All Board level communications: Report back to the Director and deliver the Annual Report and online Annual Business Review on time and within budget
  • Developing, analysing and reporting Franchisee communications KPIs at Board level
  1. Engagement through Technology
  • Day-to-day management of the new Franchisee engagement platform to ensure high

levels of engagement with Franchisees
REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience within a Franchise environment
  • Successful track record of working in a communications or marketing role
  • Experience in managing and using digital communications tools
  • Outstanding Powerpoint to create compelling decks
