This position averages 42 hour per week at a rate of £12.28 per hour.

Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for a FM Security Fire Officer to join our passionate and driven Security team based at our client's site in Great Cambridge Road, Hertfordshire

You will ensure the safety and security of the employees, visitors, and client's property on the estate, by maintaining a good corporate image and high standards of professionalism.

About You:

  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
  • Applicants for this role should hold an up to date SIA card as a requisite for this role. In addition some experience in the fire service would be an advantage, but not a necessity
  • You will need to supply employment history on application or be confident you can supply this with any gaps in your employment being filled with proof or evidence
  • This position will be based on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, across 7 days a week.
  • There is also the opportunity to work overtime, when and as required
  • Also you will be expected to manage and operate all Fire equipment, including fire panels, alarm systems, extinguisher audits and planned evacuations, as a matter of compliance
  • You will be expected to have good planning and organisational skills, good communication skills and an all-around team ethic approach. Being able to work off your own initiative is essential.
  • Using Office software would be advantageous, but all training would be supplied
  • Applicants will need to be flexible with regard to the hours and possible short notice changes to appearances etc., but where possible, notice would be given as soon as possible.
