We are thrilled to partner with a prestigious top 50 law firm in their search for a talented Business Development Executive to join their Litigation and Dispute Resolution (LDR) team. This team plays a pivotal role in driving the firm's business development, fostering client relationships, and enhancing their market presence.

Role Overview:

As a Business Development Executive, you will:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Build and nurture relationships with clients and key intermediaries.
  • Elevate the firm's profile on a global scale.
  • Promote the firm's litigation services to maximise revenue and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Relationship Development: Develop strong, influential relationships with partners, fee earners, and colleagues both in the UK and internationally.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate with the BD&M team on strategic plans and budgets, leading key initiatives.
  • Meeting Participation: Participate in marketing and business development meetings, providing updates on activities including ROI reporting, event budgeting, and marketing round-ups.
  • Intermediary Programme: Support the delivery of the LDR key intermediary programme by planning activities and meetings, and monitoring and reporting on referral activities.
  • Content Creation: Create credentials statements and draft pitches, leading when appropriate.
  • Directory Submissions: Coordinate the legal directory and award submissions process, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.

About You:

  • Experience: Proven experience in legal marketing within an international law firm or professional services environment, preferably at the executive level.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to quickly build strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional oral and written communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders globally.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with marketing databases (preferably InterAction/Vuture) is a plus.
