Harmonic Operations is delighted to announce that we are working exclusively with an up-and-coming FMCG company that is making disruptive progress in the beverage sector. Their products can be spotted in many of the UK's leading retailers such as Tesco and Waitrose, as well as on the luxury end of retail such as Harrods. With a current revenue of c.£4 Million and planning to break through to c.£10 Million next year, our client is looking for someone who gets a thrill from working in a dynamic and energetic environment where no day is the same.
Based in the stunning location of Devon, this company has been constructed from the ground-up to prioritise sustainability and high-quality products. As well as the products, this company believes high-quality people are just as important. As the company is composed of a small office, they believe sociability and ambition have been the key to their success so far. Our client would therefore like to work with an open and motivated individual who shares their vision of expanding beyond their current clients including the UK's major retailers and over 15 countries worldwide.
Role:
Working directly with an innovative and ambitious founder, this role will be key for the success of the brand and lead the company in production, site operations and people leadership.
This role works cross functionally also and requires someone who is strategic, ambitious, driven and excited about working for a brand that is disrupting the industry and challenging the status quo.
Responsibilities:
- Partnering with the founder to build out the operational strategy of the business and actively look to improve processes and systems.
- Management of the current end-to-end operations including site operations and production.
- Lead the purchasing, negotiations and supplier relationship building.
- Responsible for operational, purchasing, quality, finance and HR teams.
- Working to identify key areas for improvements and management of the KPIs.
- Developing the team to achieve expected growth results.
- Spearhead the growth of exports international markets as well as maintaining and improving the domestic manufacturing processes.
- Working on the planning of NPD - the founder has some exciting new skews that they want to explore as they grow so this position would work to deliver on these. This would also include product launches.
What our client would like to see:
- Entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to work with a start-up / SME
- Broad skillset in being able to manage the end-to-end operations function
- Strong leadership management skills and ability to set high standards.
- At least 6 years of experience within a fast-paced operational environment.
- Confident communication style
- Experience in working with grocery retails (Tesco / Asda / Sainsburys / Morrisons etc)
What we would like to see (not essential):
- International or global supply chain experience
- Prior experience with food or drinks brands would be beneficial

Salary: £65k-£70k+ Benefits
