We are seeking a Travel Coordinator responsible for managing global business travel requirements, based in Leeds City Centre.

This role supports the Premises & Travel Operations Manager by maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and key suppliers, and overseeing travel administration.

Description

Travel Coordinator - Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the complete travel process, from booking to reimbursement.
  • Resolve travel issues promptly and effectively, escalating to the Travel Management Company when necessary.
  • Generate and deliver travel reports, including statistical, financial, and environmental data.
  • Track and report on travel expenses, ensuring cost-effectiveness and policy compliance.
  • Coordinate tasks efficiently to meet travel needs using the travel management system.
  • Regularly review and update travel policies and procedures.
  • Maintain up-to-date travel information on internal platforms.
  • Monitor travel budgets and ensure requests stay within limits.
  • Serve as the internal escalation point for travel-related issues and service improvements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on supplier selection and implementation projects.

Profile

Travel Coordinator - Skills and Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience in the travel industry, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, detail-oriented, and capable of managing workload effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with bespoke software packages.
  • Resilient and adaptable, with a willingness to work flexibly to meet needs.
