Description
Travel Coordinator - Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete travel process, from booking to reimbursement.
- Resolve travel issues promptly and effectively, escalating to the Travel Management Company when necessary.
- Generate and deliver travel reports, including statistical, financial, and environmental data.
- Track and report on travel expenses, ensuring cost-effectiveness and policy compliance.
- Coordinate tasks efficiently to meet travel needs using the travel management system.
- Regularly review and update travel policies and procedures.
- Maintain up-to-date travel information on internal platforms.
- Monitor travel budgets and ensure requests stay within limits.
- Serve as the internal escalation point for travel-related issues and service improvements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on supplier selection and implementation projects.
Profile
Travel Coordinator - Skills and Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in the travel industry, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Exceptional organisational skills, detail-oriented, and capable of managing workload effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with bespoke software packages.
- Resilient and adaptable, with a willingness to work flexibly to meet needs.
