Legal Cashier
£40,000 - £45,000/annum
Victor Chase Legal Recruitment are working in partnership with a Legal 500 law firm in their search for a Legal Cashier of 2 plus years experience based in their Central London office. The person they are looking for should be highly motivated, enthusiastic, organised, commercially aware and experienced in all aspects of high level legal cashier work.
The Role:
- Responsible for deposit account postings and reconciliations
- Monitor client account, check monies received and inform the relevant fee earners
- Input payments and obtain appropriate authorisation in advance of deadlines
- Review and allocate incoming funds
- Banking of all client and office account cheques
- Processing outgoing cheques
- Report SAR's breaches and record them on Riliance
- Daily Client Bank Reconciliation
The perfect person will have at least 2 years relevant experience of working in a law firm dealing with client accounts and have up to date working knowledge of the Solicitors Accounts Rules. The role will involve but is not limited to the following.
