About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join our Generic Children's Team on a temporary basis. In this role, you will work with children and families from diverse backgrounds to provide support, conduct assessments, and develop plans that promote the well-being and development of children in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's needs and family circumstances.
  • Develop, implement, and review care plans in collaboration with children, families, and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Manage a diverse caseload, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
  • Provide support and guidance to children and families to enhance their resilience and well-being.
  • Attend and contribute to relevant meetings, reviews, and case conferences.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with legal and organisational requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with partner agencies to ensure holistic support for children and families.
  • Participate in regular supervision and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree in Social Work and current registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience in children's social work, ideally within a generic or multi-disciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in child welfare and protection.
  • Strong assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage a caseload and work under pressure.
  • Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of work.

Minimum Requirements:
-SWE Registration
-2 year post qualifying experience within UK
-Eligibility to work in the UK
