Description
- Closely monitor income and expenditure and ensure all records are up to date.
- Authorised orders on the computer system.
- Maintained and monitor/reconcile all bank accounts.
- Supported the annual budgeting processes including working with key non-finance stakeholders in budget setting and understanding the overhead costs for their individual departments.
- Supervised the collection, recording and banking of monies.
- Monthly reconciliations of Balance Sheet nominal codes.
- Maintained financial policies and procedures, suggest, implement & monitor agreed financial controls.
- Assisted with managing the year-end external audit processes.
- Ensured the prompt and accurate processing and recording of all financial transactions, including sales invoices, credit notes and payments.
Profile
A successful 'Reconciliation Analyst' should have:
- A solid understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in using financial software and MS Office.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- An ability to work well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
