Part-Time Receptionist

A rare opportunity has arisen for a Part-Time Receptionist to join an established local company on a permanent basis. You will be managing a busy switchboard to assist in the transfer of all inbound calls and will also be the first point of contact for visitors.

The hours of work will consist of 22.5 hours per week, you will be predominantly working the afternoon shift of 12:45-17:15, however, as long as reception is covered at all times you may switch with your colleague between the afternoon and morning shift of 08:30-13:00.

Main duties of the Receptionist:

  • Transferring high volume calls to correct destination department.
  • Responsibility for outgoing post and franking.
  • Maintaining supply of stationary and other supplies.
  • Attending to visitors and making them welcome.
  • Operate company tannoy system.
  • General adhoc admin tasks as required.

Personal Attributes:

  • Experience in an administration role.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong IT and computer skills.
  • Build lasting relationships.

You will be required to work full time days to cover holidays and sickness. This is a busy reception role and will require someone to learn quickly and take on board different department requirements.
