Finance Manager
Location - Knowsley
Salary - £based on experience
About the company:
A well-established and growing SME with a new opportunity for a Finance Manager to join the business in a broad role.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare Management accounts from Trial Balance, including P&L and BS
- Create and post journals (accruals, prepayments, depreciation)
- Reconcile all Balance Sheet accounts
- Update cashflow on a daily basis
- Prepare VAT Returns
- Fixed asset & lease register maintenance
- Oversee Credit Control
- Oversee supplier payments and expense payments
- Liaise with HR and payroll bureau with regards to reports and payments
- PO authorisation
- Reconcile all bank accounts
Skills/Qualifications required:
- Recognised accounting qualification a bonus, but not required
- Good excel skills (pivots, lookups)
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work both on own initiative and as part of a team
