A Financial Systems and Reporting Officer working for an Education and Training organisation based in Slough. Reporting into the Finance Director to review, improve and maintain the financial systems and processes of the overall financial function.

My client is an Education and Training, Not For Profit organisation based in Slough. They are a part of a multi-academy trust that was established in 2013.

Description

The key responsibilities of a Financial Systems and Reporting Officer are:

  • In conjunction with the FD advise on current and future financial issues and projects.
  • Ensure that financial policies adopted are in adherence with the requirements of the ESFA, Charities Commission and Companies Law.
  • Carry out regular internal audits of all financial systems, controls and processes to ensure that systems are operating effectively and efficiently with minimal or no risks.
  • To review banking approval limits and structures.

Profile

The successful Financial Systems and Reporting Officer will:

  • Ideally have worked within an Education and Finance setting previously
  • Have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Handle a high-level of workload and manage priorities well.
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
