We are currently recruiting for a new permanent Finance Paralegal position, to work in the London office of our client, a leading US law firm.
This is a full-time position offering excellent training opportunities and the opportunity to become an integral member of the firm's highly ranked finance team.
The firm's finance team in Europe has particular experience advising private equity sponsors, including advising on leveraged financings and debt structures.
The successful candidate will help with the capital call facility work, for a number of main sponsor clients. The high-level work will include closely supporting senior associates with the day-to-day management within the department.
This would include work relating to increases, extensions, amendments and re-financings of existing agreements as well working on any new sublines entered into by sponsors and dealing with day-to-day management of these agreements.
Suitable applicants will have amassed 2+ years of prior finance paralegal experience in a City law firm and have a strong academic background. Excellent interpersonal skills, knowledge of document management systems and a self-motivated approach are also crucial to be successful in this role.
