Title: Data Analytics Specialist
Contract Position based at: Gaydon - on site 2/3 days a week with rest of week from home
Umbrella Rate: £30.37 / hr
Contract Length: Until 31.3,25
Position Description:
This role is to work with the usability data PO to be responsible for data storage and analytics for the human factors team. Working with both incoming external data as well as internal data generated by the research team. This data will correlate to vehicle diagnostics data and experimental data generated through user testing. The role will require understanding of the research and stakeholder requests to ensure that data is stored and output in a way that can support the research and stakeholder requirements. Assisting these research projects with storage and maintenance of experimental data and analytics of the data through dashboards.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Support relevant Agile ceremonies within HF and external teams
Work with Usability data PO, Research Teams and HF Stakeholders to ensure data requirements are understood and implemented to support ongoing research
Efficient and continuous maintenance of internal HF data
Develop processes to standardise data input Investigate methods to streamline analysis processes and presentation of data
Advocator for HF/UX with data teams, ensuring the business understand the needs and requirements for data as well as the business cases and enablers that data provides
An awareness of Automotive networks is preferable
Skills Required:
Bachelors Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering
Experience with SQL or similar
Experience in using visualisation tools such as Tableau
Experience Required:

Experience in maintaining and storing data
Querying databases using SQL or similar
Ability to analyse data using visualisation tools for stakeholders
Have the ability to react quickly to short time scales
Operate in an efficient and professional manner in a fast paced environment
Experience Preferred:
Experience of working with data in an automotive industry
Familiarity with Agile & Scrum methodologies
Familiarity with human centre design process
Understanding of usability data in an automotive context
Experience of using Python or R Experience of using Tableau or similar
Experience of using Big Query or similar
Experience of building and managing multiple relationships in complex stakeholder environments
