CMA is currently working with a sizeable and globally recognised not for profit organisation in Southampton who are renowned for their innovation and enterprise and have been recently placed within the top 1% across their sector. They are currently looking to appoint a Financial Systems Accountant to join their established and successful Financial Systems Team. This role will support the implementation of planned systems developments and day to day systems maintenance across the finance function.
What will the Financial Systems Accountant role involve?
- Ensure the delivery of finance and associated systems support;
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and end user needs with a focus on financial systems reporting and costing tools;
- Take a leading role in the ongoing maintenance of the Financial Systems including live implementation, systems testing and functionality;
- Provide guidance on appropriate support services to aid management decisions;
- Engage with end users of Financial Systems to resolve complex user issues;
- Carry out detailed assessment and analysis of issues and problems.
Suitable Candidate for the Financial Systems Accountant vacancy:
- Strong technical knowledge and a proven track record with Unit4 ERP;
- A good understanding of accounting principles coupled with previous accounting experience and ideally accounting qualifications;
- Exceptional communication skills.
