My client in Lancashire is looking to appoint a talented Portfolio & PMO Lead on a Contract basis.
This role will play a critical role in the development and implementation of the council's strategic change portfolio programme, leading on all aspects of the Portfolio Office and Centre of Excellence delivery.
About the role:
Based in Lancashire (Hybrid):
- Lead the recruitment, development, line management and retention of the team
- Lead the establishment and delivery of hub and spoke sub PMO's in support of Portfolio Managers and/or Strategic Programme Managers
- Lead the development and implementation of terms of reference for the Portfolio Office and Centre Of Excellence
- Provide technical support and advice to the Head of Change in prioritising, constructing, approving, and tracking the Change Portfolio
About you: You will have the following experiences:
- Extensive experience in a similar role for a Local Authority.
- Excellent understanding of Hub & Spoke models.
- Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills.
- Prior experience in setting up and developing PMO's and Centres of Excellence.
What's on offer:
- Salary: £500+ per day, inside IR35
