Hours of work: Monday - Friday 0800 -1700
Hawk-3 Talent Solutions are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Mechanical Technician based in the Gloucestershire area.
Mechanical Systems Technician will be servicing, repair, and refurbishment of aircraft engines .The ideal candidate will have to ensure that the engines run safely, effectively, and historically accurate.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure all maintenance and repair work aligns with historical authenticity and adheres to relevant guidelines and specifications.
Skilfully repair or replace worn, damaged, or faulty components, following proper restoration practices.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of the work performed, parts used, and any historical modifications made.
Disassemble, clean, and reassemble aircraft engines with precision and attention to historical accuracy.
Skilfully repair or replace worn, damaged, or faulty components, following proper restoration practices.
Experience, attributes & skills sought:
Relevant technical certifications or training in aircraft maintenance are desirable.
Proven experience in maintaining, repairing, and restoring vintage aircraft propulsion systems.
In-depth knowledge of historical aircraft engines, their components, and their unique maintenance requirements.
Familiarity with UK aviation regulations and safety protocols, including A8-24/23 guidelines.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to preserving historical accuracy.
Ability to interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics effectively.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Physical fitness and the ability to work in confined spaces.
