KS1 Teacher in Houghton Regis

Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in accordance with the KS1 curriculum.
- Provide cover for absent teachers, ensuring a positive and productive classroom environment.
- Follow the lesson plans and instructions provided by the absent teacher, while also adapting as necessary to meet the needs of the students.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment, promoting positive behaviour management strategies.
- Assess and provide feedback on student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and continuity in teaching and learning.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a recognized teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent).
- Experience teaching Key Stage 1 students, preferably within a primary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and the ability to plan and deliver effective lessons.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Adaptability and flexibility to work in different classrooms and cover various subjects within the KS1 curriculum.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who have recently completed their initial teacher training are encouraged to apply.
