Senior Solicitor – HDR

An exciting full-time opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic, expanding law firm in the heart of Liverpool City Centre. Our client specialises in a range of civil litigation matters and are currently expanding their growing HDR department.
We are seeking an ambitious qualified solicitor, ideally with at least 6 years PQE to head up and oversee their Housing Disrepair department. Experience of housing disrepair is preferred but not essential.
Job Details and Benefits:
- Full time, permanent
- Monday – Friday, 35 hours a week
- Hybrid working – ability to work from the office and from home (2 days at home, 3 in the office)

Main duties and responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of 12 plus from pre-issue to litigation level and develop and train those less experienced with litigation.
- Monitoring, developing and engaging with the MI
- Developing and rolling out KPIs and ensuring they are met
- Driving and encouraging case progression by motivating and inspiring the team
- Supervision and mentoring - ensure compliance and highest standards are met - Offer technical support and carry out file clinics
- Promote the Firm's supportive and collaborative environment
- File audits to monitor compliance and quality in conjunction with the COLP
- Develop workflows, systems and processes on Proclaim.
What we need from you:
- At least 6 years PQE
- Technical experience and ability to handle complex, litigated cases.
- Mentor and leadership ability.
