Group as an International Business Development Officer!

Key Responsibilities of our International Business Development Officer:

  • Proactively generating high-quality leads converting these to new business for the International department at CCG. Priority will be in support of the sale of study abroad, groups and academic programmes. You will be required, but not limited to, promoting any other commercial opportunity that could be generated, including promotion of Summer Schools, TVET, TNE and cross selling of Anglia Examinations.
  • To be the key point of contact for international Agents and groups at Chichester College, supporting across the Group where required, co-ordinating timely enrolments, liaising with admissions, facilitating enquiries, and generating new business leads to develop strong international links and greater opportunities for our international division.
  • Being a sales ambassador for all that the College Group has to offer and promote the breadth and range of products and services available across our organisation to the international education and skills community.
  • Managing all aspects of the sales process for international student intakes including agents, partners and stakeholder engagement and liaison, individual and groups recruitment, agreement of intake in collaboration with curriculum, admissions and fulfilment of paperwork requirements.
  • Ensuring that agreed targets for sales are met/exceeded and that there is high and consistent customer satisfaction through responsive and effective account management.
  • Working collaboratively and practically with internal teams in curriculum and other linked business support teams to provide support, innovation, insights and opportunities.
  • Using the customer relationship management (CRM) system to maximum effect; so that reports can be generated on weekly/monthly progress, consolidate planned and completed sales activity and performance towards targets. Performance will be monitored against the CRM focusing on pipeline, conversions and losses.

Our ideal International Business Development Officer should have the below skills and experience:

  • Level 2 English & Maths
  • Experience working within an customer service and/or sales role
  • UK Education and/or CCG qualifications framework
  • Proven administration, presentation and report writing skills
  • Team player and influencer
