Windsor Forest College Group is looking for a Technical Skills Coach – Plumbing & Gas to join the Langley team on a part-time basis.

Technical Skills Coach – Plumbing & Gas

Working on a 0.6 FTE basis you will over the course of 3 days per week be responsible for successfully managing a caseload of apprentices to provide support and enhance the apprentice/employer experience for our Plumbing L3 and Gas Apprenticeship Programmes.

You will achieve this goal through effective skills coaching, mentoring and teaching for apprentices to assist them in achieving a successful end point assessment. You will conduct progress reviews with the apprentices and line managers every 8 – 12 weeks ensuing that the apprentice is progressing with functional skills where required and tracking completions towards skills, knowledge and behaviours.

To be successful you will need to be educated to a level 3 standard in the plumbing and heating and have Gas experience and CCN1 and CENWAT qualifications or a commitment to working towards. You should also hold a recognised Teaching Qualification, and A1 Assessors Award or be willing to work towards this once in position.
