Job Overview
We are seeking an Assistant Fleet Personnel Administrator to join their team in a dynamic office environment. The ideal candidate will support the administrative team with all aspects of administration as detailed below:
Responsibilities
- Dealing directly with our personnel onboard and ashore, port agents and manning agents
- Arranging travel for personnel joining and leaving vessels
- Ensuring personnel comply with flag state, MLC and company conditions in respect of certification, travel and medicals
- Updating the personnel database in a timely and accurate manner
- General administrative assistance to the team
Experience
- Previous experience in an administrative role is essential
- Proficiency in microsoft and general office computer applications
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and great inter-personal skills
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
