Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver
Location: Tittensor, Stoke-on-Trent
Pay Rate: £15 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 50 - 55 hours on average
Workchain are currently recruiting for experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 Drivers to work for our client based in Stoke-on-Trent on an ongoing basis. If you are available immediately and have experience in this type of work, we want you to apply.
The key responsibilities for this role are as follows:
- To deliver goods to different locations throughout the UK
- To pick up goods as instructed by the transport team
- To complete all relevant paperwork accurately and on time
- To ensure the vehicle is checked before and after each use
- To comply with all driving regulations and legislation
The ideal candidate will have:
- A valid HGV Class 1 licence
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role
- No more than 6 points on their licence
- General Haulage experience
In return, our client offers competitive pay rate of £15.00 per hour. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, with starts between 6am and 8am. You will be working 50 - 65 hours a week.
