We have an exciting opportunity for a Photographer, working with our Marketing team at our Head Office in Milton Keynes.
Our in-house Photographer is responsible for shooting Rohan and third party clothing and accessories primarily in a studio environment, alongside location shooting; as and when necessary.
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, and have experience with editing images, setting up studio lighting, and preparing outfits. Experience is required in photographing clothing on body including close up/detail shots, and also on mannequins and flat lays. Enthusiasm, ideas, good communication skills and a positive attitude are all essential attributes. A keen interest in the outdoors would also be an advantage.
Knowledge & Experience
- At least two years' experience working for a consumer brand.
- At least one year experience working within a studio.
- Ability to direct models and support team during shoot periods.
- Proficient in Capture One, Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.
- Experience in art working and creation of collateral within a multi-channel retailer.
- Experience of working on digital based assets.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Adaptability to changing circumstances and/or requirements.
- Produce visual content for all sizes of print and e-commerce.
- Confidence to work independently and within a small team.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to collaborate.
- Ability to work at pace to tight deadlines, taking accountability for decisions made.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to build and maintain exceptional relationships cross functionally.
Roles and responsibilities
- Create high quality and consistent product images
- Lead ad hoc local locations shoots
- Re-touch, resize, re-colour and maintain image banks
- Work with Retail and Visual merchandising (VM) across in-store imagery
- Interpret briefs, ensuring output aligns to brand guidelines.
- Understand the customer journey and provide an appropriate suite of images.
- Act as second photographer on location shoots, supporting the freelance photographer, and directing models.
- Lead on event photography.
- Assist with product training videos.
- Ensure all images on the asset database are fit for purpose.
- Lead shoots for multiple styles of imagery and studio set ups.
- Assist with basic graphic design duties if required.
- Work with the Head of Brand and Creative Designer to establish a Rohan image style
- Meet budget expectations for shoots.
- Ensure processes are in place to manage product shoots.
- Manage model/ stylist & MUA bookings, and assist with castings. Ensure all image license agreements are in place and call sheets are supplied.
- Support with the planning and implementation of lifestyle location shoots, including scoping out models, locations and fixers
