SAP Manager - EP Group
EP Group is a global packaging manufacturer with production facilities across Europe and South East Asia. We specialise in a range of paper and plastic based packaging products, selling to many of the world's largest retailers including Marks & Spencer, Amazon and McDonalds.
We currently have a vacancy for a SAP Manager to lead the global SAP team and support SAP projects including the upgrade from SAP ECC6.0 to SAP S/4 Hana.
Key Responsibilities - SAP Manager
- The SAP Manager will manage the SAP team, including hiring, training, mentoring, and evaluating the performance of SAP consultants, developers, analysts, and administrators.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute SAP projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, integrations, enhancements, and customizations, experience in SAP ECC6.0 to S/4 Hana.
- Ensure the alignment of SAP solutions with the business requirements, objectives, and strategies of the organisation.
- Establish and enforce SAP standards, policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure the quality, security, and compliance of SAP systems and data.
- Monitor and troubleshoot SAP system performance, availability, and issues, and provide technical support and guidance to end-users and stakeholders.
- Manage the SAP budget, resources, and vendors, and negotiate contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) with SAP providers and partners.
- Keep abreast of the latest SAP trends, innovations, and developments, and recommend and implement improvements and enhancements to the SAP environment.
Key Requirements - SAP Manager
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of five years of experience in SAP management, consulting, development, or administration, preferably in a similar industry or domain.
- A certification in SAP or a relevant SAP module, such as SAP ERP, SAP CRM, SAP BI, or SAP HANA.
- A strong knowledge of SAP architecture, functionality, processes, and best practices, and the ability to design, configure, test, and deploy SAP solutions.
- A proficient in SAP tools, languages, and methodologies, such as SAP ABAP, SAP NetWeaver, SAP Fiori, SAP Solution Manager, and SAP Activate.
- A excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple SAP projects and teams effectively.
- A analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve SAP system issues and challenges.
- A attention to detail, quality, and accuracy, and the ability to ensure the compliance and security of SAP systems and data.
