Our client is looking for an Accountant/ ledger controller to join their team in Aberdeen for a 6 month period. Working from 2 days per week after an initial handover period

Your new role:
- Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately
- Ensuring all financial reporting deadlines are met
- Ensure balance sheet accounts are reconciled
- lead the month-end and year-end close process, including journal entried, accruals and adjustments.
- Perform Montyhly ARCS reconciliations
- Review and approve monthly VAT returns
- Preparing financial reports
What you'll need to succeed:
- Proven experience in ledger controller role
- Experience within high pace enviroments be preferred but is not essential.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed KPI's.
- Strong analytical skills.
