This role gives you a fantastic chance to be in a growing, impactful finance team that will operate company wide.
Main Duties:
As a Management Accountant_,_ your main duties include:
- Preparing detailed management accounts for specific business units
- Handling cash book and bank reconciliations, including issuing manual payments via banking software when necessary
- Managing accruals, prepayments, and variance analysis between actual performance and the plan
- Submitting various reports to head office, covering stock, debtors, sales, and margins
- Creating a comprehensive management information pack, including schedules for sales, margins, stock, debtors, and working capital
- Reconciling balance sheets for each entity and submit to head office
- Maintaining monthly planning files to update relevant data
- Preparing annual, profit and loss, and balance sheet plans for review
- Completing annual internal statutory accounts for group consolidation
- Processing payroll and analyse variances
- Assisting with monthly submission of internal controls
Location / Office / Culture
The role is hybrid with three days in the office based in Marston Green. The company operates from a modern office consisting of a strong team of 20+ including their very passionate management team that have been there for many years and are very supportive.

What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Ideally, two years' experience in a management accounting or related financial environment
- Working towards a qualification in CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or AAT is preferred
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- A high level of numeracy, attention to detail, and diligence are essential
- Proficiency in Excel, at least at an intermediate level, is desirable
- Driving License
