An award-winning independent Pest Control Company in London is seeking a Finance Team Leader to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to grow within the company and potentially lead the Finance Team. The position is based in Tooting, London, and candidates should consider their commute before applying.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage daily accounting operations and handle financial queries.
  • Process payable invoices on Sage Line 50.
  • Prepare and send out client statements, chasing payment where necessary.
  • Administer debtor collection through various communication channels.
  • Prepare detailed monthly analysis of invoices and debtors.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate financial records.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and cash flow for review by the Head of Finance.
  • Establish and manage positive relationships with customers.
  • General administration and ordering supplies for the department.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Financial qualification such as AAT/ACCA or equivalent experience.
  • Experience using Sage and other accounting software.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office packages, especially Excel, Word, and Google Suite.
  • Excellent numerical and organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English with customer service experience.
  • Interpersonal competence with people of all levels.
  • Ability to work under own initiative and to deadlines.
  • Desire to continually improve processes and increase efficiency.
  • Experience with Salesforce and various Portals is preferable.
  • Experience within the Service Industry is preferable.
