Certain Advantage are recruiting on behalf of our Automotive client for an IT Support Analyst.
This is a contract to start ASAP working inside IR35 initially until 31st Dec 2024 and requires you to be based 5 days onsite in Daventry. **You must be willing to work onsite 100%**
You'll be supporting the local sites by answering user inquiries regarding software / hardware operations and resolving their problems in a timely manner.
Typical tasks will include remote software installation, hardware testing, error detection and is expected to involve reading technical documentation, discussing with users and/or conducting diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems.
Key Skills and Competencies
- Good customer service and interpersonal skills
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Problem solving skills,
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks
- Ability to work to existing standard operating procedures and processes
- Knowledge of computer software, such as configuration management software, desktop communications software, operating system software and internet directory services software.
Required desktop experience:
- Windows OS (Windows 10)
- Active directory (basic knowledge)
- DNS, DHCP
- Printing services
- Hardware configuration
- Software troubleshooting
- Run of the mill standard desktop support
