Senior Sustainability Consultant

My client is a leading independent multidisciplined consultancy who tailor their specialised services to the needs of the clients and provide sustainable solutions. They have the exciting opportunity for an experienced Sustainability Consultant to report to the Associate Director in their offices in London.
Role responsibilities include:
- Produce sustainability strategies to help clients achieve compliance with their targets
- Environmental assessments of buildings using BREEAM, LEED and WELL standards
- Coordinating sustainability strategies and services by working with other team members and supporting planning applications, as well as producing sustainability statements
- Providing consultant advice on sustainability issues and corporate sustainability metrics
- Attend project meetings, mentor junior members of staff, managing the budget of individual projects, and maintaining client and delivery team relationships
The ideal candidate will have:
- Relevant educational background within an environmental, engineering or architectural field
- Minimum 3 years' experience within a Sustainability role within the built environment industry
- An accreditation within a BREEAM, WELL, or LEED scheme, as well as a successful background in delivering on projects using these environmental schemes
- Good understanding of UK building regulations and legislations in regard to sustainable buildings
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with previous experience in a client facing role.
