  • As part of the Senior Leadership Team this Operation Director roleis ideal for forward thinking operations professional who has experience of working within hospitality multi-site environment where the end to end brand experience drives strategy.

The role:

  • The successful Operations Director will be a hands-on proactive leader who is comfortable operating in an entrepreneurial, scale up lean organisation.
  • The Operations Director will work closely with the Managing Director and the rest of the Senior Leadership team to deliver a superior operation that exceeds customer expectation
  • Working as part of the senior leadership team the Operations Director will report and analyse commercial performance identifying areas for improvement
  • The Operations Director will be responsible for operational strategy and planning, developing and executing operational processes and ways of working that will achieve the company vision and ensure the brand is a best-in-class employer.
  • In this role the Operations Director will ensure that all financial metrics are delivered and take responsibility for managing risk, compliance and safety.
  • Leading 3 Area Managers, the Operations Director will create and deliver an operations people and culture strategy that delivers fantastic standards, engagement and encourages development and progression.
  • The Operations Director will work with the New Store openings team drive initiatives and projects that support business needs whilst delighting customers

Ideal candidate:

  • You will currently be working in a senior Operations role either at Head of or Director level within a UK-based hospitality multi-site environment.
  • You may have had experience gained from large companies or smaller start up or scale up environments, but you must be comfortable in a scale up growing business and also understand the importance of a luxury branded destination experience.
  • It is essential that you demonstrate good knowledge and expertise of all areas of operations including financial, HR, compliance etc. You will be a strategic thinker and problem solver focused on continuous improvement
  • For the Operations Director role you will have a collaborative, hands on approach and be confident working at board and owner level. You will be an excellent presenter
  • You must have excellent relationship building skills you will be able to communicate and influence with directors and other stakeholders
  • The Operations Director must have strong numerical aptitude and excellent attention to detail along with excellent project and time management experience.
  • You will take a genuine empathetic approach where culture is more important than process.
  • As an individual you will have gravitas, presence and a growth mindset, be self-reflective and be a continuous learner.
