Role: Mathematics Teacher
Location: Dagenham
Start: September 2024 (July 2024 start available)
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join a thriving Secondary School based in Dagenham. The ideal candidate will not only inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in Mathematics, but also embed the vision and values of the school to provide the best encouragement and opportunities for each of their students.
ECT's are encouraged to apply for this Mathematics Teacher role, should the successful applicant be available before September 2024, you will be able to start your new role in July 2024.
Duties:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students
- Create a positive learning environment that encourages active participation
- Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, exams, and coursework
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their development
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Mathematics curriculum
- Participate in school events and parent-teacher meetings
Skills:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Excellent command of the English language
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage and inspire students of varying abilities
- Organised approach to lesson planning and classroom management
- Flexibility and adaptability in teaching methods to meet student needs
