We are now hiring for a part time Accounts Assistant/Administrator to join our team.
This is an office-based role in our Edinburgh office.

Role Purpose: As an Accounts Assistant/Administrator you will support the Accounts Department by managing correspondence, processing financial transactions, and ensuring the accuracy of our financial records. Your role is vital in ensuring our financial operations run smoothly and efficiently.
What you will be doing:
- Maintain Accounts Department correspondence
- Accurately manage and process bank deposits
- Compile information from BACS payments received via bank statement
- Prepare client printouts for invoice processing and remit
- Check client statements to ensure appropriate level of VAT charged
- Prepare and process nominal ledger journal entries
- Maintains monies in suspense account and lost payments
What we expect from you:
- Previous administrative experience
- A proactive and positive approach
- Attention to detail - precision in handling financial and admin data
- Strong numeracy skills
- Excellent communication skills
- IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office package
