Location: Dorset

Our client is a precision engineering company, providing high-quality services to the Defence, Aerospace, and Oil & Gas sectors. Overview of the Role

The Engineering Coordinator role is the primary contact between the client and the customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer accounts in full, ensuring that queries are dealt with in a timely manner.

Attributes

  • Experience within Aerospace or Engineering is preferred but not essential.
  • Good general IT skills.
  • Able to demonstrate a working knowledge of Excel.
  • Experience of an MRP system an advantage but not essential.
  • Good communicator.
  • Part of the sales team to ensure monthly targets are met.
  • Ability to set and work to priorities.
  • Must be well organised.

Role Responsibilities

  • Closely monitor and develop customer expectations in terms of On-Time Delivery.
  • Track potential delays and discuss with the customer any risks at the earliest stage.
  • Be influential in prioritising and pushing production to meet customer expectations.
  • Communicate at different levels and liaise between relevant departments and company to resolve any technical or quality issues.
  • Attend daily production meetings and actively push the completion and delivery of components to the customer.

Working Week

  • Monday to Friday ( early finish on Fridays)
