Desktop Support Engineer, 1st/2nd Line, Hybrid, Win 10, JIRA, AD
Desktop Support Engineer required for a leading financial services organisation based in central London.
Hybrid working - 2-3 days per week on site.
Engagement is via umbrella company only.
The successful candidate will provide 2nd line technical support to end users across the estate - a mixture of laptops of VDI - focusing on Microsoft desktop and application operating environment.
General responsibilities: -
- Diagnose and resolve a wide range of technical issues, focusing on end-user technologies and supporting platforms.
- Provide excellent customer service
- Be the first point of call for IT support queries from internal staff, either via the service desk platform, phone, email, Teams, or face-to-face.
- Administer the service desk and act upon requests for change and system access.
Skills and experience required: -
- Windows 10
- SCCM
- AD user admin
- [Desirable] JIRA
- Experience working in a change control environment
