Internal Sales Executive

We are delighted to be working with a global client in Preston Brook, Runcorn, who is seeking an Internal Sales Executive to support the sales team in achieving the company targets.

This is a lovely role working in a small team for someone who has strong customer service or sales experience and is passionate about building relationships and working in a collaborative environment.

The Role

To proactively provide internal sales expertise supporting the business in meeting the sales targets, and dealing with new and existing and new customers, In addition to supporting the commercial activities of external account managers and customer services.

Main responsibilities:

  • Build a pipeline of opportunities for new business and close sales opportunities to ensure incremental sales targets are met
  • Maintain and service existing accounts - Explore incremental sales opportunities
  • Follow-up market campaigns
  • Desktop research and survey questions to increase database quality
  • Sales lead processing
  • Actively engaging in generating new business opportunities through lead-generation activities in combination with Digital marketing campaigns and self-sourcing.
  • Building strong relationships with new and existing customers to deliver the highest possible service levels.
  • Keeping the CRM systems up to date, by inputting and cleansing relevant data and producing analytics
  • Fully manage the requirements and relationships with selected key accounts as co-owner where applicable
  • Liaise and expedite with partners within other functions to provide accurate and timely information relating to customer requirements and queries.
  • Attend monthly operational meetings to contribute to the strategic and tactical improvement of the business

  • Individual Campaign targets
  • Review meetings
  • New customer calls
  • Identifying opportunities and conversions
  • New business development target - Team sales target

The position is full-time (36.25 hours per week) – Mon – Thurs 8.45 am to 5 pm and Fridays 9 am to 4pm. 45 min unpaid lunch break.

Salary £26k depending on experience

10% bonus eligibility
