Finance Assistant Role Overview
As a Finance Assistant, you will be working as part of a small team and be responsible for managing the purchase ledger and credit control process. You will work closely with and report into the Assistant Accountant.
Finance Assistant Responsibilities:
- Processing purchase invoices into QuickBooks
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Weekly payments runs
- Bank reconciliation's
- Dealing with supplier queries, payment requests via email and telephone
- Raising customer invoices
- Chase invoices by phone, email, and letter
- Monitoring customer debt, and following up on unpaid invoices
Finance Assistant Experience Required
- Minimum 12 months experience in a similar role
- Be AAT qualified or studying towards
- Experience working in an SME would be desirable
- Strong attention to detail
- Have strong interpersonal skills
