Description
- Assist in maintaining the company's financial systems and databases.
- Help prepare monthly management accounts and annual financial statements.
- Support the team in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Ensure data integrity through regular system checks and reconciliation activities.
- Participate in system upgrades and implementation projects.
- Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with other departments in the organisation.
- Comply with all regulations and standards in the not-for-profit sector.
Profile
A successful Systems Accountant should have:
- A relevant degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Knowledge of using financial systems and databases.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent IT skills, particularly in Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
