We are seeking a dedicated Farm Assistant to join our team on a temporary basis. The role primarily involves maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our animal enclosures. If you enjoy outdoor work and are not afraid to roll up your sleeves, this position could be for you.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Cleaning animal pens and enclosures by shovelling manure and other waste materials.
- Thoroughly jet washing and hosing down areas to ensure they are clean and sanitised.
- Assisting with the general upkeep of the farm environment.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Working efficiently to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks.
- Comfortable working in an outdoor and farm environment.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment, such as jet washers and hoses.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
