Junior Planner

  • Location: Oxford
  • Reports to: Head of UK&I S&OP

Job summary

Supporting the Senior Production Planner with daily and weekly planning activities such as scheduling, capacity planning, tool share between European sites and managing the weekly promotions process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuously updates schedule to ensure other departments can plan and execute.
  • Advises purchasing department of any schedule changes which may affect raw material requirements.
  • Updates planner daily and ensures it is uploaded, stored and accessible to other team members.
  • Support capacity analysis to assess current infrastructure utilisation and future capacity requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and input for capacity planning.
  • Identify potential bottlenecks or constraints to capacity
  • Monitor performance metrics and key performance indicators to track capacity utilisation.
  • Communicate capacity planning updates and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Reporting on shortages and adherence to plan using SAP
  • Organise tool share between European sites
  • Manage the weekly promotions process for the Indoor side for a major CPG provider.

Skills/experience:

  • SAP ERP/MRP ideally
  • Proven experience in planning, resource management, scheduling
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
