This company are a niche steel frame construction company who offer a turnkey process, consistently creating high quality builds. They work on an array of interesting commercial projects, ranging in size, scale, and value, they have seen huge success with their work over the last few years, as a result building a great name for themselves in the industry. This has led to fast growth of the business. Due to this expansion, and strong order book, they are looking for an experienced CAD Draughtsman to join their team to progress through the ranks and gain expert training along the way.
In this office based role, you will be producing fabrication drawings for steel framed buildings. You will use CAD software to create these technical drawings and plans. You will be working on 3D projects, developing detailed drawings of components for fabrication and construction. You will be the first CAD Draughtsman the company employs, so will have a lot of autonomy in your role, implementing procedures and structure.
This role would therefore ideally suit an ambitious individual with a background in Design and CAD, within the construction industry. You will be someone who has experience using AutoCAD and or Revit, as well as other software. You must be able to work under pressure, paying great attention to detail, finding logical solutions to technical issues.
