Software Engineer - Sports Trading

Location: Central London (Hybrid) - One day a week
Your Role:
- Craft reliable, low-latency components in our advanced distributed system
- Develop API integrations and web scrapers for external trading connections
- Create clean, maintainable code, participating in architectural discussions
- Collaborate directly with product owners, bringing ideas to life
Tech Stack:
- Language: Golang (Open to other languages)
- Database: Postgres
- Deployment: Docker
- CI/CD: Github Actions
- Principles: Emphasis on CI/CD, integration testing, and automation
- Collaboration: Strong engineering practices, open source contributions

Requirements:
- Solid background in software engineering
- Proficient in Golang, with experience in Postgres and Docker
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices, preferably using Github Actions
- Expertise in distributed systems and low-latency architecture
- Previous experience in sports analytics or high-frequency trading is advantageous
- Ability to design API integrations and web scrapers
- Commitment to clean, maintainable code
- Active participation in architectural discussions
- Familiarity with open-source projects and engineering best practices
- On-site presence in London on Thursdays, remote work for the rest of the week
