Are you seeking an exciting new challenge in the IT industry? Our client, a prominent provider of infrastructure and managed services, is actively searching for a skilled Network Support Engineer to join their dynamic team.
- Handling escalated network and firewall inquiries from the service desk team, including troubleshooting hardware issues, monitoring bandwidth, and addressing general network issues.
- Providing on-site assistance for project-based installations of new equipment and systems as needed.
- Managing cases efficiently through the ticketing system (Sysaid).
- Monitoring network performance using platforms such as PRTG and Auvik.
- Applying expertise to aid customers in resolving cases and managing escalations.
- Meeting designated Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Participating in an on-call rotation (currently 1 in 4 weeks) to support the 24x7x365 1st/2nd line service desk.
- Occasional evening, bank holiday, and weekend work may be required to accommodate client demands, such as change activities.
