Job
As a Payroll Manager, you will have the chance to:
- Oversee and train another payroll specialist
- Process monthly payroll data
- Maintain payroll records and ensure statutory compliance
- Calculate and negotiate pay adjustments
- Handle year-end reconciliation and reporting to HMRC
- Prepare and process BACS payments
- Manage pension contributions
- Address payroll queries
- Generate payroll reports and assist with budget preparation
- Verify HR information
You
To succeed as a Payroll Manager, you should have:
- Proven payroll experience
- Knowledge of payroll systems
- Understanding of HMRC regulations and statutory calculations
- Familiarity with pension schemes and contribution processes
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels
- Competence in financial data analysis and report generation
- Experience with BACS payment systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software
