Fundraising Professional

- Pay £12-13ph
We are seeking an experienced Fundraising Professional to join a Charity who specialise in providing support to the local community. This role is pivotal in developing and submitting applications to trusts and foundations, as well as seeking donations and grants to support our mission of alleviating disadvantage and poverty.
Day to Day of the role:
- Collaborate with Trustees to optimize fundraising strategies and focus efforts on promising applications.
- Expand the fundraising portfolio, ensuring long-term financial sustainability for the organisation.
- Prepare and submit a minimum of six applications, including at least one multi-year grant exceeding £100,000, with a target of £50,000 in income from trusts and foundations.
- Provide regular progress reports to the Centre Manager and Trustees.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Demonstrable success in developing project proposals within the community development sector or similar fields.
- Independent planning and delivery of successful funding applications.
- In-depth knowledge of current criteria and strategic aims of major trusts and foundations.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Insight into the challenges and opportunities facing small charities.
- Commitment to professionalism and ethical conduct.
- Applicants should ideally not be working on live bids for comparable charities.
