Job DescriptionWe are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Food Technology to join our team in a permanent position starting from September 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Food Technology to students across Key Stages 3-5, preparing and delivering engaging lessons that inspire students to learn and love the subject.
Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons that meet the needs of all students.
  • Assess, record and report on the development, progress and attainment of students.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and practices.
  • Participate in meetings, training and other learning activities as required.

Qualifications

  • A degree in a related subject.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary school level.

Skills

  • Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Food Technology.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
