Sales Administrator
Wickford, Essex
Salary: Up to £27,500 per annum DOE
Permanent position / Full time - 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday's
We are working with an established Distribution company at their main site in Wickford, Essex. Due to their continued growth, a new position is open for an experienced Sales Administrator.
Job Role:
- Receiving incoming calls from customers, taking verbal orders and day-to-day queries such as delivery & pricing issues.
- Processing and entering sales orders on to our order systems, quoting stock availability, dispatch and invoicing.
- Supporting external sales representatives, to drive both customer relations and sales growth.
- Producing customer quotations and price lists.
- Processing daily deliveries dockets for carriers.
Person specification:
- Previous sales administration experience essential.
- Have strong, recent experience with sales order processing and processing many large orders daily.
- Knowledge of dealing with a vast variety of product stock lines.
- Wholesale/Distribution experience is desirable.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Speaking over the telephone & making calls to provide a high level of customer support.
- Computer literate with Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Up-sell & negotiation skills whilst building a rapport with customers.
- Able to multi-task and adapt to a varied and challenging role.
