Due to an increase in customer demand in our clients business, they are now recruiting for an Electrical bias Maintenance Engineer to join their team in the Bradford Area on a days based position.
This role offers the opportunity to work for a true independent market leader and established global brand. Role Description
- Maximise plant reliability through PPM tasks
- Undertake reactive fault finding and repairs on production equipment where required
- Contribute to process and systems improvement across site
- Take responsibility for organising electrical safety checks and inspections
- Maintain stock levels of machinery spares
- Implement best practice H&S measures and contribute to the improvement of emergency procedures.
- Assume responsibility for contractor control on site
Skills and Qualifications
- Apprentice trained Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- 17th / 18th Edition Electrical Regulations
- Strong knowledge with PLC's, HMI's, Instrumentation, Relays, Drives, Invertors.
- Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
- Experience within a processing or manufacturing environment
