Job Summary:
The Technical Administrator will be responsible for providing administrative support to the operations team, particularly in scheduling and coordinating the rotas for engineers and technical staff. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organisational and communication skills. The Technical Administrator will ensure the efficient and effective scheduling of resources to meet project demands and support the smooth operation of construction activities.

Key Responsibilities:
Scheduling and Coordination:
Create, maintain, and update schedules and rotas for engineers and technical staff.
Coordinate with project managers and team leads to ensure optimal allocation of resources.
Monitor project timelines and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes or delays.

Administrative Support:
Assist with the preparation and distribution of project documentation, including reports, plans, and schedules.
Maintain accurate records of staff attendance, work hours, and leave requests.
Handle incoming calls and emails, directing inquiries to the appropriate team members.

Communication and Liaison:
Serve as a point of contact between engineers, project managers, and clients regarding scheduling and availability.
Ensure clear and timely communication of schedule changes and project updates to all relevant parties.
Address and resolve scheduling conflicts or issues promptly.

Data Management:
Maintain and update databases and records related to staff scheduling, project timelines, and resource allocation.
Generate reports and summaries on scheduling, resource utilization, and project progress.

Support for Technical Teams:
Assist engineers and technical staff with administrative tasks as needed.
Coordinate the procurement and delivery of materials and equipment required for projects.

Compliance and Safety:
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Maintain records of safety training and certifications for technical staff.

Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably within the construction industry.
Skills:
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
