A leading company in the e-waste recycling sector is looking for a Finance Business Partner to join their team in Perth, Scotland. This role focuses on enhancing the financial and operational performance of newly acquired businesses.
Key Responsibilities
:
- Health & Safety: Support and drive a safe working culture.
- Financial Controls: Improve financial controls and mitigate risks.
- Month-End Process: Manage month-end processes, ensuring accurate P&Ls and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Management Accounts: Investigate and resolve variances in management accounts.
- Group Reporting: Prepare and manage month-end Group reports and communications.
- Business Integration: Plan and manage the integration of businesses into one entity.
- ERP System Setup: Design and set up a new ERP system, aligning it with business processes.
- Weekly Forecasts: Prepare accurate weekly forecasts for senior management.
- Reporting Suite Development: Develop and improve business performance reports.
- Ad Hoc Analysis: Provide analysis as requested by senior management.
- Cost Reduction Initiatives: Generate ideas to reduce costs and improve performance.
- Annual Pricing Review: Participate in annual pricing reviews.
- Capex Project Tracking: Manage financial tracking of Capex projects.
- KPI Refinement: Refine and roll out KPIs across the business.
- Budget Process: Play a key role in the annual budget process.
Qualifications and Experience
:
- Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with strong business acumen.
- Experience in statistical analysis and financial reporting.
- Proficient in spreadsheets, MS Office, and financial software.
- Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
- Ability to build good working relationships.
