Pertemps Dudley are recruiting for Powder Coaters on behalf of a reputable steel manufacturer in Dudley. Due to growth, we are seeking a skilled Powder Coater to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate powder coating equipment, including spray guns and booths, to apply coatings evenly and efficiently.
- Ensure proper curing of powder coatings by following prescribed time and temperature parameters.
- Perform quality inspections to identify defects, imperfections, or irregularities in coated surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness of the powder coating area and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Powder Coater or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in operating powder coating equipment and applying coatings to steel or metal surfaces.
- Understanding of surface preparation techniques and coating application processes.
Hours of work:
Monday-Thursday 2pm-10.30pm
Friday 2pm-7.30pm
Rate of pay:
£12.37 per hour
